Danique is a self-taught photographer based near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Capturing nostalgic and intimate portraits, she uses her camera to create a dreamlike world of her own. She shoots both analogue and digital but prefers working with 35mm or polaroid film, formats that reference the classic photographs we all know and adore.

Her work is heavily influenced by travel, and draws inspiration from 60’s / 70’s cinema, escapism, rock and roll musicians, longing, myths and strange dreams.
